Upon the release of the Playstation 3, Naughty Dog took a gamble. They opted to end their established franchise from the Playstation 2, Jak and Daxter, in order to focus on creating a brand new series from scratch. This wasn't an unprecedented move - the company had done the same a few years previously when they opted to drop Crash Bandicoot in favour of developing the Jak and Daxter trilogy - but it was a huge risk nonetheless, since unlike before, they were venturing out of the realm of colourful child-friendly platformers and into the more mature action/adventure market. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was a huge success upon its release in 2007, offering players likable characters, a well-written plot and solid gameplay that blended action, exploration and puzzles across thirty story sequences. A sequel was inevitable and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves followed in 2009, expanding and improving on everything introduced in its predecessor whilst adding a number of additional features, such as online multiplayer. Five years later, the game lives on as one of the finest ever released for the Playstation 3 system, ranking up there will the all-time greats. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, was a 'more of the same' entry that came next in 2011. Despite its lack of evolution, however, it was still a solid game in all respects. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, will wrap up the series on the Playstation 4 next year. Until then, however, let us reminisce on ten of the most enjoyable moments enjoyed by players across the trilogy thus far. There's a few spoilers here and there, so mind out if you're yet to play through the games.
