Good on the ladies here! Up from 2015, the ratio of male to female players is - for the first time in years - tied at exactly 50/50.

Last year we saw a 56%/44% split from male to female, but as gender politics continue to be a major talking point in the industry, games are available to increasingly wider audiences and a bigger variety of voices are heard from, we've achieved total gender equality across the globe.

Feels good, no?
