3. Classic NES Games (Animal Crossing)
Sticking with Nintendo and its glorious past, when Animal Crossing launched worldwide on GameCube in the early 2000s, it came bundled with a bunch of vintage NES titles as in-game bonuses wrapped in history lessons.
Among the collectable tat villages could stockpile were cartridges hosting the likes of Excitebike, Donkey Kong, and Golf, games that were just as fun and addictive as Animal Crossing, if not more so.
The original Animal Crossing launched long before the days of Virtual Console and the retro gaming renaissance, so Nintendo could afford to be charitable in the distribution of its illustrious back catalogue.
These days, this sort of thing is almost unheard of, but back then it was a welcome reminder of the Big N's early success and rich heritage.
