10. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Receives Mixed Reviews
As a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid franchise, Ground Zeroes is the first game that I haven't been particularly excited about, namely because I feel like this franchise was wrapped up rather neatly in the previous game, and also because of Konami's decision to split the game into two parts. Bear in mind I didn't say "halves", because Ground Zeroes essentially serves as a prologue to the full game, The Phantom Pain, which is due out either near the end of the year, or more likely next year. Konami have priced Ground Zeroes at $40 on next-gen consoles (or $30 if you go digital), and by comparison, most fully-fledged next-gen games currently retail for about $50, so it suggests that the game probably won't be very long. In addition to this, a leaked achievements list for the game has caused many to further speculate that the game runs very short in length, and therefore probably won't be worth more than a rental, or a quick weekend playthrough before selling on E-Bay. I foresee the game's review scores deviating severely from the series' usual 9.0+, largely because it's probably going to be a 6-7 hour game that should have been included in the full product anyway.
