Owing to the simple fact that Call of Duty games have some of the largest and most active online communities, this glitch caused a hell of a lot of international heartache in its time. The Javelin Exploit allowed players to set off a cheeky Cemtex grenade upon dying, meaning that while theyd have their session score marred with a death, theyd also have netted themselves at least 1 (usually quite a few more) consolation kill in the process. Exploiting glitches in a single-player game is fine; if you dont mind shattering the illusion of the video game world, knock yourself out. But doing it in an online multiplayer match? Its not exactly in the spirit of healthy competition and yes, contrary to popular belief (amongst sore losers), it is cheating.
