10. Michelle Rodriquez - Halo

Michelle Rodriguez was once seen as one of Hollywood’s rising stars, but her career has at best plateaued, at worst slumped this past decade. In the mid to late ‘00s though, she was hot property, and a few video games snapped her up.

She’s here representing Halo 2, the most recognisable game in her back catalogue, where she played one of the marines. There’s been a fair few celebrity roles in Halo games down the years, and some will be detailed in other entries as several of the actors, like Rodriguez, have popped up on other games too.

Prior to Halo 2, Rodriguez played Rosie in True Crime: Streets Of LA and Calita in Driver 3. She made her career out of tough talking, streetwise Latin women after making a huge splash in Girlfight, but playing to type ultimately left her with limited options on the silver screen.

Following these three games in quick succession between 2003-04, Rodriguez’s next game role was in the Avatar video game, reprising the part she played in James Cameron’s record breaking movie. This was followed by Call Of Duty: Black Ops II in 2012, her last game role today date.
