6. Injustice: Gods Among Us

What could be greater than combining the gameplay of Mortal Kombat with our favorite DC characters?

Injustice, the 2.5D fighting game, is already being considered a classic by many. The game boasts excellent gameplay, a fantastic roster, and a compelling story. And man, is that story great.

See, storytelling can be hit or miss in a fighting game (especially when it features superheroes *cough* Marvel vs. Capcom) but Injustice delivered a fantastically well-written narrative that was also shown in a tie-in comic.

Take that story and blend it with the hard-hitting gameplay of Mortal Kombat, and you have not only one the best superhero games, but one of the best fighters of the last ten years as well.
