10 Heavily Rumoured Video Games We Want To See At E3 2019

And the prize for least creative title of all time goes to... Call of Duty: Modern Warfare!

It's no secret that another Call of Duty game is in development, and we even knew that it was a Modern Warfare sequel, but few could have predicted what it would have been called.

Of course, it's not uncommon for game studios to revert back to original naming conventions; God of War, Prey, Ratchet & Clank, and Tomb Raider, to name but a few. However this one feels a little stranger because it's even the same sub-title, just minus a number.

Naming idiosyncrasies aside, it is rather exciting to see what the team at Infinity War can come up with. According to Kotaku, who broke the news of the name, the game will serve as a "soft reboot" for the series.

The original Modern Warfare is renowned as a true classic that changed the shooting genre, so there's a lot to live up to. And considering last year's Call of Duty didn't even have a campaign, it will be nice to see that mode return. Expect to see this one back on Microsoft's stage.
