6. The Clone Wars

The first of two Attack of the Clones based games on this list, Clone Wars is a vehicular combat game which kicks off at the battle of Geonosis, and takes the player through a series of battles and scenarios from the titular Clone Wars.

Playing through a variety of level types and utilising various vehicles, the Clone Wars is arguably a very good game masquerading as a sub-par alternative.

True, the plot is a little weak, and the original character Cydon Prax is an instantly forgettable villain, but the overall experience is definitely worth your time.

Except, of course, the on-foot sections…

Controlling Anakin and friends on foot with lightsaber in-hand, charging into battle against thousands of battle droids sounds awesome in theory. In execution, however, it plays more like trying to push a drunken Gamorrean across the Ice plains of Hoth with a Tusken Raider’s Gaffi Stick.

Apart from that though, it’s a great game.
