10 Incredible Video Games That Should've NEVER Worked
2. SnowRunner
Whilst it may not be the first in its series of haulage games, SnowRunner is certainly the best. Taking the Spintires and MudRunner template and expanding on it, as well as adding colour, SnowRunner deserves every bit of praise it gets.
Much like Farming Simulator, there's a massive sense of achievement to be found in completing any of SnowRunner's many tasks. On paper, these sound absolutely mundane.
Take some fuel to a truck stuck in a bog? Move a drilling rig across a portion of the map?
See, even typing them sounds boring.
But when you actually play SnowRunner, you'll get it. You'll feel that real sense of accomplishment as you lug all shapes and types of haulage and goods across treacherous terrain.
And like a new tractor, saving up for an absolute beast of a truck to make life easier is a joy to behold. Seeing your operation expand into moving massive haul, rescuing stuck trucks and essentially rebuilding commerce and communities is a thing to behold.
Teaming up with mates is even better. Getting a convoy going is sheer, unmatched joy.
