7. Never Alone

Another atmospheric puzzle platformer game akin to Limbo, with a similarly grey colour palette. Set in frosty Alaska and centered around a young iñupiat girl called Nuna and her arctic fox companion, Never Alone can be played solo, controlling both characters, or as a wonderful co-operative experience.

Each character has a unique ability, Nuna has thumbs and her fox can commune with nature. It features a touching short story based on real cultural stories passed down through alaskan folklore. A terrible blizzard has been ravaging Nuna’s village, so she ventures out alone to try to find the source of the storm.

Along the way she meets a strange white fox, and the two become inseparable. What follows is a short story full of heart, and heartbreak, with a very simple gameplay premise that is both relaxing and satisfying to play through.
