10. You Can Speed Mine Resources By Aiming While Extracting - Starfield

Whether you're trying to build a settlement or craft new gear for yourself in Starfield, you're going to have to gather resources at one point or another.

Mining rocks with your cutter tool isn't something you can really avoid, unless you're okay with going bankrupt purchasing everything from merchants, and unfortunately the process can be pretty dull, as extracting ore takes way longer than it needs to.

Thankfully, there is a little feature that remedies this fact, but you have to figure it out yourself because the game never mentions it to you.

Unbeknownst to most Starfield players, the cutter is secretly equipped with a speed mining feature that allows it to extract pretty much any mineral and ore in a second!

To activate the feature, all you have to do is hold down the aim button while gathering materials.

It seems pretty simple, and yet most players never think to do it and end up wasting entire minutes on a boring task that can be done in seconds.
