10 Infuriatingly Overpowered Video Game Enemies
10. Clickers - The Last Of Us
The biggest problem with the Clickers is that, more often than not, it takes more than one gun shot to the face in order to put one of them down. Which would mean very little, but in The Last of Us, ammunition is incredibly scarce.
Indeed, scavenging bullets is a major part of the experience, and it's incredibly rare for the player to have more than a handful for each of their guns. Picking up four rounds from a fallen enemy would be a disappointment in most other cases, but in The Last Of Us, it's practically a godsend.
If it weren't enough to waste precious resources to eliminate just one, there's also some other facets that infuriate player. It has erratic movement patterns, making it much harder to hit. Worst of all, Clickers are able to one shot kill Joel and Ellie just by getting too close, meaning that taking out a single one of these tricky buggers will always be priority number one, even if the player is surrounded by an entire horde of other zombies.
Given how iconic the Clickers are, expect even more of them whenever the sequel actually comes out.
