10. The Iron Bull - Dragon Age: Inquisition

The minute you witness the hulking, one-eyed, horned Qunari mercenary known as the Iron Bull, you're either safely unnerved by him, or deeply, deeply in love with him. Or both, if that's what you're about.

Learning his backstory doesn't make him any less intimidating, either. After losing one too many of his squad mates, Hissrad goes on a Rambo style rampage against their enemies, eventually being found surrounded by the bodies of those he'd murdered. This breakdown was so serious that the Qunari declared himself unfit for duty, making it clear he was aware this berserker rage was a permanent and irremovable part of him.

Though he's a pretty relaxed guy once you get to know him, it's still made incredibly clear that the Iron Bull doesn't shy away from violence, and has only become more relaxed with the concept since becoming a mercenary.

While by no means just a mindless brute, the Iron Bull is also no pushover, and it's easy to feel grateful that he's on your side when you see him in action.
