10 Least Intimidating Video Game Bosses (Who Kicked Your Ass)

10. Luigi’s Mansion - King Boo

The mansion that Luigi ventures into is no stranger to thing that go bump in the night, and every corner seems packed with entities hellbent on scaring the moustache off of you. But in reality, they’re all just a bit cute really.

That’s up until the final gauntlet, where you’re facing the big bad of the them all - King Boo - who just looks like a beefed up version of the other boos you’ve faced a million times over. Up until this point the bosses have been challenging, but nothing to make you want to launch your GameCube into oblivion.

Then comes King Boo.

Well, I say King Boo, but the devilish ghoul is hiding in a puppet of the great Bowser. Immediately he’ll be firing fire and blasting spikes balls in your direction, all while you battle the cumbersome controls that never resonated well to fast paced antics.

Once you’ve dwindled enough of fake Bowsers health down by firing the balls back, THEN you have to take on King Boo who has more health points than any ghost you’ve faced. Get it down some and he’ll return to the Bowser suit for a round of rinse and repeat.

What seemingly appears to be just another ghost to contend with turns into a battle of attrition as Bowsers powerful attacks knock you senseless and straight back to the beginning of the fight. Booooo!
