10 Lesser Known Video Games That Should Be Remade

10. The World Ends With You

Tragically, the World Ends With You appears to have been passed up for Kingdom Hearts in terms of beloved spikey haired protagonists - as while Sora got famous, Neku got the short end of the stick.

Which is a shame, because both are about the same in terms of completely hogwild yet lovable stories.

Only, The World Ends With You is the more intricate RPG of the two. The fighting mechanics incorporate the Nintendo DS' duel screens, by having you use both together to choreograph fights. It takes a little while to not find this the gaming equivalent of patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time, but when you do you feel as though you've genuinely mastered something, which is a feat for a game to recreate.

While this could pose problems with a remaster, the potential for it to see a full remaster on the Switch or even next gen of Playstation and Xbox is too immense to ignore - which means it's worth incorporating the two screens into one for the sake of upgrading the console it comes out on.

Also, the plot is basically that you are a dead person fighting through a week of intense battles to prove you deserve to be alive, and if that's not metal as hell, nothing else in this world is.
