India is an area that has so many things that Ubisoft looks for in an AC game that it's a bit surprising they haven't already based an adventure there. The cultural history, the way the towns and cities are set up and the amount of conflict that has consumed India for hundreds of years makes the country the perfect place for the Templars and Assassins to battle for control of the human race. The East India Company was very involved with trading European and Indian resources, with plenty of their activities being linked to pirating. With the popularity of the pirate theme of AC Black Flag, an instalment of the series set in India could make a great spiritual successor to that game.
