10 Mistakes Everyone Made In Popular Video Games
10. Not Completing Side-Quests Before The End - Fallout 3
Nowadays, games are so overstuffed with content, there's plenty to keep you entertained after the credits roll. In fact, many gamers enjoy re-exploring the world after defeating the final boss since they can search for hidden items and side-quests without being distracted by the main campaign. And since Fallout 3 is packed with a vast open-world, extra missions, and intriguing bonuses, there's plenty to come back to once you complete the story.
At least, in theory. In the climax, your character has the choice to activate a water purifier, which will save millions of lives. But since the purifier is inside an irradiated chamber, you will die by performing this task. So, if there was any place or person you wanted to check out after winning the game, you were out of luck.
This was before games warned you that you were about to hit the point of no return, and outcry for this issue was so infamous, it forced the company to fix it with the Broken Steel DLC. However this installation made some fans more furious since they had to pay to keep exploring the Wasteland to avoid starting from scratch.
