10. Golem

Golem has been in development for a long time but not a lot is know about it, barring a trailer or two.

Golem is being developed by Highwire Games, and it will mark the first game from the Seattle-based studio. That may make you a little wary, but then you realise that the team consists of ex-Bungie, 343, Valve, and Airtight Games staff. The personnel guiding this ship is reason enough to be excited.

In Golem, you play as a little girl, who's has been injured and is bed-ridden. As she is laid-up though, she discovers the ability to control these incredible stone creatures known as Golems. You play in the feet of the Golems as they lumber around an ancient city and partake in sword fights. The developer has likened it to Dark Souls in terms of world exploration.

Golem was scheduled for a 2018 release, which obviously did not occur, so we're expecting a Q1 2019 release. Keep your eyes peeled for news in the near future.
