10 Most INFURIATING Legend Of Zelda Dungeons
10. Skyview Temple
Skyward Sword has some seriously cool and well designed levels. While the game has its flaws on the whole, the Mining Facility, the Ancient Cistern, and the Sandship can stand up among some of the greatest dungeons in Zelda history.
For this reason it’s all the more frustrating that the substantially less impressive and interesting Skyview Temple is the dungeon you’re asked to revisit. The temple is fine the first time around - it’s a typical forest-themed early level. Nothing particularly special, but a decent way to get things started.
When you go back, though, they’ve added practically nothing. You’ve obtained a few new skills, but these don’t exactly add a great deal. For the most part, you’re simply running past tasks and chambers you’ve already completed, on a pretty uninspiring fetch quest.
It feels like padding, and it’s disappointing that they didn’t come up with a new location to visit late on in the game. Or, at the very least, let you go back to one of the cooler dungeons.
