10 Most Likely DLC Characters For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
10. Bandana Waddle Dee
There is no series that Masahiro Sakurai loves more than the Kirby series. He created it, he voices King Dedede, and he always seems to start Smash Bros. story modes off with Kirby. So it would only make sense that he would want a fourth Kirby rep in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Enter Bandana Waddle Dee.
A major player in the Kirby series, both as a protagonist and an antagonist, Bandana Waddle Dee would work exceptionally well as a character with both close-range and zoning options. Furthermore, unlike Toad from the Super Mario franchise, his inclusion as a playable character would actually make sense, as he is no longer used as a weapon by other fighters.
Speaking of "weapon," his spears would be a unique addition to the game, perhaps behaving similarly to Toon Link's arrows, Olimar's Pikmin, or the Belmonts' axes. He could also use his spears to perform long-range air attacks, as Villager does with his slingshot, or downward spikes, similar to the Links' swords, Banjo & Kazooie's Beak Buster, or Mr. Game & Watch's Key.
Come to think of it, Bandana Waddle Dee already has a full move set ready to go thanks to his appearances in Kirby Star Allies and Kirby Superstar Ultra. So, like... might as well just put him in the game.
