10. MP7 - Modern Warfare 3

In just about every COD game there's one SMG that you can carelessly run around the battlefield with, spraying and praying while raking in the kills. The MP7 was Modern Warfare 3's version of this, and while it wasn't as ridiculously overpowered as some of the other weapons in the franchise, players could still clear out a whole room of enemies by simply holding down the trigger and not letting go until everybody was dead.

However, while the base version was already powerful, MW3's wealth of perks and attachments meant players could make the gun even more devastating. The silencer was a particularly popular choice, which combined with perks that increased movement speed, allowed players to zip around the map undetected while annihilating the enemy team.

Likewise, if someone had customised the MP7 to include rapid fire you might as well have just rage quitted on the spot, because there was no way that they wouldn't make your life a living hell for the rest of the round.
