Ok sure, this prediction isn't even all that outlandish, given the immense popularity of the Wii, the PS Move and Microsoft's Kinect. Let's be honest, at some point in the not-too-distant future, the gaming controller will likely become obsolete and considered a relic of a bygone age; at the very most it'll be a retro accessory, survived only by aging Street Fighter fans who refuse to let it go. Is this a good thing? I'm honestly indifferent. Sure, I've grown up using physical controllers, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm emotionally attached to them. No more than I am the handle on my car door. As long as the games that are being delivered in the future are up to par and the execution is satisfactory, I don't care whether the controller is a pad, my entire body or a banana. The proof is in the pudding.
