Grand Theft Auto V's sprawling setting of Los Santos was bursting with content from day one, and with such a massive task list to accomplish, reaching platinum is a long-winded challenge.

Smaller miscellaneous tasks like getting eaten by a shark weren't too taxing, but scavenger hunts for secret cars and spaceship parts started to stretch things out to tedious degrees.

However, the most brutal part of the grind came from acing every mission and challenge with a gold medal. Offering the option to replay was one thing, but having players grind the same events over and over again to collect the top slot proved immensely draining. With so many story missions and side activities, it was an extensive process.

To cap it all off, players had to get the Los Santos Sightseer trophy, which required them to painfully drive arrive every last inch of the map.

With the right amount of dedication, it could be done but this platinum award asked for a ludicrous amount of in-game hours to win.
