10 Potential Problems With Fallout 4

6. Mods Could Break It

It's been a long wait for another Fallout game, with the faithful amusing themselves by keeping both the third title and New Vegas in workable condition with mods. The PC editions in the franchise have seen graphical upgrades, new weapons and even whole new game created by enterprising fans, and now that's coming to consoles as well. Bethesda have already confirmed that mod capabilities will be available on the Xbox One version and they're working on similar for the PS4. For the other titles, the ability to mod the games made for something to do between instalments, and meant they could keep up with innovations in the industry since they were released. It also meant that people could introduce game-breaking abilities, weapons, the ability to skip levels, and so on. What with them being fan-created, there was also the possibility of the game literally breaking with the introduction of those mods, messing with the source code screwing everything up. Trickier to deal with on a console, no?
