Perhaps the biggest advantage of PC gaming is the choice and customisation it affords to its users. With a computer you are free to choose exactly how you want to play your games. Want to be able to use your Xbox 360 controller for tricky platformers and RPGs? Thats fine, and when you are playing first-person shooters or RTS titles you can immediately switch to the keyboard and mouse combo. If you want to play all your games at the maximum setting then invest in more RAM and a better graphics card. But if you prefer to be able to have all of your games, downloadable content and mods all installed at the same time so you can play them instantly then get that 2TB hard drive. Hell, do both if you want. You arent even tied to any particular service or distribution portal. You can buy your games from Steam, Desura, GOG, Amazon or your local store. Its completely up to you how you play your own content, where you get it from and on what type of hardware you play it on.
