10 Reasons You're Never Too Old To Be A Gamer

4. There€™s A Game For Anyone, Anywhere & Anytime

The vastness of the gaming hemisphere provides an incredibly rich choice of genres where €“ unless you€™re Boris Johnson or radically anti-gaming €“ you€™ll more than likely find a title that€™ll grab you. If the intense concentration required in the hardcore gamer€™s world comes as stressful, a title with a relaxed pace comes as an easy option. On that note, my errand thoughts have recently taken me back in the past. For someone who€™d usually be heard blasting away lines in Tetris, my dad turned out to be the most unusual Mortal Kombat II player in my books. Yes, he mainly used Liu Kang. Yes, he repeatedly (and awkwardly) used the double tap moves and ended up being decapitated by my Johnny Cage awesomeness, but getting my dad in the 90s to €œinteract€ with the Megadrive is something I€™m still proud of. Video games might still be associated with stereotype concepts, however even the timeless Chess now comes in beautiful HD with extremely sophisticated AIs that would compete with even the grandmasters. Where a board with chips might come as an encumbrance - let alone finding an €œadequate€ opponent €“ a Chess session on your tablet, smartphone or laptop would probably come as a pleasant experience when on the move or on a trip. Anyway, if a 100-year old woman can kick it on a Nintendo DS lite, I can't help think anyone can (if they want to) game. http://youtu.be/nawe7F8cZ_U
