10. Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite

After six instalments, you would think Capcom had perfected a winning formula here. Merging together two well beloved properties such be a recipe for success, but to no avail when it comes to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.

Capcom really dropped the ball on Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite though. Much of the criticism came from the poor character designs, lack of playable characters on the roster and overall step back for the franchise.

A main point players weren't happy with was the lack of characters such as the X-Men and Fantastic Four, which were staples in the Marvel universe and characters that past entries had incorporated into their roster.

Capcom banked on this entry gaining a great audience and projected to be incorporated into the tournament circuit. There were plans for many DLC characters and add-ons for the game game in the future.

Unfortunately, players refrained from dropping their hard earned cash and showing their displeasure on the game. From this Capcom have remained fairly quiet in regards to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, thus letting it die where it is.
