10 Scariest Horror Video Games You Might Have Missed

10. White Day: A Labyrinth Named School.

White Day is a Korean horror game based around the tradition of, well, White Day, which traditionally comes a month after Valentines Day. It's a day where boys leave gifts for their crush.

When our protagonist sneaks into the school to leave chocolates on a girl's desk, he gets more than he bargained for when he gets locked in overnight. As players explore the school, trying to find a way out, they discover the dark history of the building. Not only that, they’re going to have to rely on quick thinking and wits to survive the onslaught of stalkers and ghosts.

White Day was released in 2001, but the remake came out in 2017. It was met with mediocre reviews which praised the puzzles and slated the difficulty of stalker enemies for “hindering” exploration. The mixed reviews could explain why the game never took off as much as it should have. With it being quite recent, it's one that more people might know, but it seems to be one that isn't talked about an awful lot. It definitely deserves more love.
