10 Star Wars Games EA Must Make After Jedi: Fallen Order
10. Jedi Starfighter
One of the great lost arts of gaming is the flying sim game. From high profile titles like Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X, to obscure gems like Skygunners, this genre of gaming has seen something of a dark age, as there aren't really any major released, despite it being a wellspring of creativity when put into the right hands.
Fortunately, one great way to bring it back is sitting right there in EA's lap:
The Starfighter games.
These games were exactly what it says on the tin, they are action packed dogfighting sims, but swap out the warplanes for X-Wings. Sure, there are Starfighter segments in Battlefront 2 which are fine for what they are (not being the main part of the game, they aren't terribly complex, but they work perfectly fine). But the Starfighter games made you feel like you were flying around in space, and centred entire original stories and characters around these dogfights.
Whether you want to stick to normal soldiers, or put Rey in the cockpit and have her use her force powers in space like in Jedi Starfighter, this series has the potential to ignite a dedicated fanbase. One that might be niche in other circumstance, but seeing as it's Star Wars, and this particular property is a proven thing, it's guaranteed for wider success.
