We all have played a game that has kept us up quaking in our boots throughout the night, too afraid to sleep, and some of us will consciously choose to specifically play it at night for that very reason. I love a video game that sparks emotion in me, whether I end up really happy or on the verge of tears because of a traumatic event that just took place. Those are the types of games that I live for, any form of media that can play with my emotions and questioning life and morality is what I cherish and I constantly look for those outlets so I can continue to shape my mind and opinions of this vast world. Few creative devices can achieve that level of engagement quite like a video game villain, and this article will celebrate the greatest. Before I jump into this list I want to clarify a few things though. The first is that I feel there are many forms of terror and I'm trying to include examples from each.
