8. We Want To Keep Spending Money On Games

This is a relatively new one that€™s creeping up on us, mainly because of the strategy€™s success in tap-and-drag games on phones and tablets. There€™s one major difference though, it€™s acceptable in those games as they€™re free or cost a pound, and it€™s only fair the developers should be allowed to make some more money other than by selling advertising space to phone companies and dating sites (and as an aside, why do dating sites keep targeting gamers? That€™s a hideous stereotype). However, when you charge me £30-£40 for a game I expect it a)to be complete and b)not to try and pump more cash out of me like a chugger on speed. At this rate, it€™s only a matter of time before our controllers have Chip and Pin slots in them.
