10 Things Only GTA V Fans Understand

10. The Disappointment Of The Lucky Wheel

As much as Rockstar encourages you to spend your hard-earned real money by advertising the use of Shark Cards in conjunction with their pretty steep asking prices on the most powerful and fun vehicles available, to be fair to them, all of their content updates have been free and available to everyone. They haven’t gated anyone out of the fun because their wallet isn’t big enough.

The latest attraction (aside from the arcades) is The Diamond Casino and Hotel, plopping a little slice of Las Venturas into the city of Los Santos. As casinos do, you’re able to swap money for chips and then use said chips to gamble on games of chance. The Diamond also has a risk-free venture that can be used once a day, that being the Lucky Wheel.

The Lucky Wheel offers a number of prizes, with the top prize every week being some kind of luxury or high priced vehicle. And, very transparently, Rockstar shows you the odds of winning each type of prize. So imagine the deflation when the excitement of winning a flying car turns into the shrugged shoulders of getting a pair of beige sandals.

Lady Luck is a fickle mistress.
