10. Codsworth Has A Potty Mouth

When the player first ventures outside of Vault 101 following the game's prelude, they will be met with a Sanctuary that has changed immeasurably as a result of the great war. Regardless of whether the player chooses to play as Nate or Nora, they will emerge from their cryogenic freeze to find out that their spouse has been killed, and their young child is missing.

So, when returning to the old homestead sans your family, it's always nice to have a reminder of the time before the apocalypse, and that comes in the form of Codsworth, a robotic butler, that has patiently awaited the player's return ever since the bombs fell.

To make the player's experience with Codsworth feel that little bit more immersive, Codsworth will even say the player's name, provided it is in the extensive list of names recorded by Bethseda.

And while all common names are included, Codsworth also has spoken dialogue if the player has decided to call themselves Assface, Bacon, Boobies, Grognak, Humungous, !*$%, and more. They thought of everything.
