10 Times Your Unfinished Business In Video Games Caught Up With You

10. Ortega's Revenge - Grand Theft Auto V

Most of your confrontations with hostile NPCs in Grand Theft Auto V work on the "shoot first, ask questions later" basis.

Come to think of it, you could probably say that about every encounter with Los Santos' residents.

However, despite your never-ending need for violence, sometimes the game gives you the option to not kill an NPC.

These moments are meant to serve as an occasion for the protagonist to act more human, however, in the case of Ortega, it's actually just a way to make yourself more enemies.

Ortega is the member of the Aztecas gang that Trevor had to intimidate at the start of his introductory mission. You have to shove his trailer into the river to force him to come outside, and then you get the option to scare him or shoot him dead.

Choosing the non-lethal path will help you save a little bit of your conscience (as if that was ever an option with Trevor), but it has unexpected consequences later on.

If you spare Ortega, he will come back for revenge during the Aztecas assault on Trevor's meth lab, joining his fellow members and adding another gun to the endless horde of assault rifles you have to fight.

Talk about ungrateful!
