Microsoft Game StudiosMicrosoft weren€™t messing around this year. While their conference may have been too CG-heavy and not featured enough gameplay, you can€™t fault it for a lack of great announcements. Looking back to their past, the developers behind Killer Instinct are reviving forgotten Xbox classic Phantom Dust for the Xbox One. The 2005 classic was a cult hit when it launched, combining cards, action and strategy in a way that hasn€™t been seen since.As is expected from Microsoft€™s conference, all we saw was a CG trailer €“ meaning we have no idea whether the gameplay tropes of the original will remain intact here, or whether it will be a completely new take on the series. Either way, this is one probably nobody saw coming.
