10 Upcoming 2019 Video Games You Could Totally Miss
10. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will receive a major launch and a big marketing push, so you might think its chances of flying completely under the radar are pretty slim.
However, considering it just missed the cut on the top ten most anticipated, there’s a good chance that while a lot of people may be aware of it, the game could yet pass them by.
It faces considerable competition after all. While a lot of the games here are in less popular genres or come without triple A expectation, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is in a tight spot.
This time of year is jammed packed with shooters - and The Outer Worlds and Call of Duty both release in the same month - so there’s a danger of it not standing out from the crowd enough.
As a tactical shooter, it does offer something considerably different, but the slower, more realistic nature of the game means it’s a bit of a harder sell than its high-octane rivals.
Whether it can attract people en mass amongst the likes of Call Of Duty, Borderlands and Doom: Eternal remains to be seen though.
