However, those who have long been fans of the story of Travis Touchdown can lie safe in the knowledge that the 11-year-hiatus of mainline No More Hero games is finally coming to an end. Not only that, but it looks set to end with a bang.

No More Heroes III will return to the land of Santa Destroy and focus on Travis' attempts to defend the world from an alien invasion. The crude and immature hero is going to be pushed to the limit as he uses his trusty (and iconic) Beam Katana to fight back against an alien overlord and his ten assassins.

The game looks set to take the already ridiculous series to bigger and better heights from what we've seen already. This delve into galactic alien invasion seems like a perfect direction for the bombastic franchise, and it's sure to bring back the satisfying and quick-paced gameplay that has been pumping players adrenaline for years now.
