10. Fruit Ninja

A Fruit Ninja movie wouldn't even have worked when Fruit Ninja was relatable. All the people who played Fruit Ninja have moved on with their lives, with the game not even registering as a passing thought. So, how producers think they'll be able to market it to anyone is a mystery.

The idea is held back by the attachment to the game. A ninja that slices fruit could work as a child's cartoon or something, but the fact that it is born of a forgotten mobile game is just laughable. There are very few ways that a movie could work and none of them have any mass appeal.

It would be like making a Pong movie. Pong is a relic of gaming. No one is asking for a Pong movie, just as no one is asking for a Fruit Ninja movie. You can hardly expect to pull something revolutionary out of a mobile game that simply had you swiping back and forth.
