10 Upcoming Video Games To Look Out For In March 2017

10. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

What is it: Nintendo's newest Zelda adventure is turning the entire franchise on its head by giving players the freedom to go anywhere they want, whenever they want, in a spacious open world. Players will explore and forage for food and new weaponry, with only a minimal aid of any typical open world mission markers or guides.

Breath of the Wild shakes many franchise traditions in the name of upending traditional "Zelda formula", including additional weapons and player customization options, alongside a fully voice-acted story. If you really wanted, you could explore anywhere in the game world from the moment you start, taking your own path to explore all the world has to offer.

You can even ignore absolutely everything the game holds, and simply trot all the way to the final boss the moment you start. It is definitely a bad idea to try and save the world while you're armed with a stick and decked in your underwear, but you're free to do it - and if that isn't total freedom then what is?

When's it coming out: 3rd March, alongside the debuting Nintendo Switch. It'll launch on both the Switch and the Wii U.
