10. Resident Evil 8

Considering the runaway success of everything Resident Evil lately, you'd think we'd have heard something about the next big entry.

The closest thing we've got to a new Resident Evil announcement was the reveal of Project Resistance, a four vs one online experience. Although that looks cool in its own right, it wasn't really the Resident Evil announcement we were all looking for.

That doesn't mean that Resident Evil 8 isn't definitely on the way though.

The massive success of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2 Remake means that a new game in the series is absolutely undoubted. It also helps that the developers have subtly confirmed that the 'next entry' in the series has been in development for some time.

If it's not Resident Evil 8, there's an extremely high chance of it being a remake of Resident Evil 3.

Leaks from an insider have also claimed that both titles are in development, but that Resident Evil 8 is only in its early days for now and might not even use the first-person camera.
