10 Upcoming Xbox One Exclusive Games You Must Consider

These games just might close the Xbox-PS4 sales gap...

Console exclusives seem to be an increasing rarity these days, with the majority of games ending up on at least three major platforms, which is of course great news for most gamers. But when deciding which console to buy, gamers will typically look at those exclusive titles that you can't get anywhere else, those alluring AAA franchises that sell millions of consoles, and of course, those indie delights that help seal the deal. Though it's fair to say that Microsoft are still struggling to prove that they're as dedicated to the indie game market as Sony, the next year-plus promises a glut of impressive AAA titles, namely some classic franchises making their Xbox One debut, and the shock appearance of a PlayStation original getting timed exclusivity on the platform. Throw in a few gorgeous, ambitious indies and you've got an extremely well-rounded line-up for the Xbox games you won't see anywhere else.

10. Quantum Break

Release Date: April 5, 2016 The Buzz: Without question one of the most ambitious upcoming titles on any platform, Quantum Break is a third-person action game from Remedy Entertainment (Max Payne), in which the player is capable of manipulating time in order to lay waste to hordes of enemies and navigate obstacles. That's not all, though: Quantum Break alternates between gameplay and TV episodes, the former allowing the player to control the hero, while the live-action interludes (starring the likes of Aidan Gillen, Dominic Monaghan and Lance Reddick) give more insight into the antagonists. Though the game has plenty to live up to and the TV show aspect is almost certainly going to prove divisive (because many gamers don't want to put their controller down for 20-30 minutes at a time), at least it's trying something different. From what's been shown off so far, this could be the game that the PS4's Infamous: Second Son tried to be but didn't quite achieve.
