Imagine hearing of a city somewhat renowned for its healing practices that you seek it out. Chances are, you don't expect to rock up at the tail-end of a endemic that's reduced its inhabitants to a disease borne of nefarious practices.

You know the type, invoking old gods and the like. The ones that never end well.

That's not the worst of it, either. You're administered a blood transfusion, told it all might seem a bit weird and sent on your way to, y'know, sort it out.

And it's not a case of doing some routine exploration, getting down to brass tacks and sorting out what's what.

Giant beasts, zombie-like locals and disgusting spider bosses are only the half of it. You've got to discover the cause of these nightmares, take on a bevvy of old gods and not succumb to the same crazy blood rage.
