10 Video Game Sequels We’d Totally Get Stupidly Excited About

10. Dead Space

However, with EA focusing on sales, an action oriented game with microstransactions was demanded. And, following poor numbers and a lukewarm response, Dead Space has since been treated like an underachieving kid whose parents pretend they don’t exist.

With Visceral Games working on a sure-money Star Wars project, a new Dead Space game isn’t likely to materialise for a long time. But, with survival horror having been reborn because of games like The Evil Within, Outlast and Resident Evil 7, a return to space would excite both fans and Dead Space virgins.

As long as it’s claustrophobic, unsettling and not hampered by EA, a return to the Ishimura would have everyone giddy as they put on the iconic engineer suit.
