10. The Wolf Among Us 2

Though Telltale's The Wolf Among Us never achieved the popularity of their episodic adventure series based on The Walking Dead, this adaptation of Bill Willingham's Fables comic book series nevertheless released to critical acclaim in 2013 and has enjoyed a cult following ever since.

While Telltale announced a second season in July 2017, the studio's shock closure the very next year led to the sequel's immediate cancellation, much to fans' dismay.

But all was not lost, as following Telltale's acquisition by LCG Entertainment, The Wolf Among Us 2 was confirmed to have been revived with a teaser trailer at The Game Awards 2019.

This version of the game is reportedly being built from scratch with all the original work being thrown out, and to ensure a more consistent release pattern all of the episodes are being developed together as a whole.

Though word has been quiet on the game's development since, multiple sources indicate The Wolf Among Us 2 will be landing at the tail-end of the year. For an episodic title which began development in mid-2019, that sounds about right.
