10 Video Game Villains Who Sneakily Dropped Hints About Their Big Reveal
10. Javed - The Witcher
The Witcher 1's main antagonist is Javed, a renegade sorcerer from the exotic lands of Zerrikania.
As you may expect from his profession, Javed is no stranger to tricks and illusions, which is why in the second act of the game he impersonates a detective from Vizima, called Raymond Maarloeve, to keep a close eye on Geralt and sabotage all of his efforts to stop the sorcerer's plan from within.
You're not really supposed to know Raymond is Javed, however, due to his arrogance (and a little bit of oversight), the villainous spellcaster actually drops some hints about his true identity.
For example, when you're close to Raymond, Geralt's medallion will go off, indicating that dangerous magic is nearby. In addition, you can find stashes of the drug Fisstech in the detective's house - the same drug your adversary peddles on the streets.
Funnily enough, you can point these things out to Raymond before his grand reveal, which will cause Javed to drop his disguise early.
Unfortunately, because he's a sleazy mage, he instantly kills you for it, but it's still worth the satisfaction of rubbing it in his face!
