10. Maleficent Is A Second-Rate Villain Now - Kingdom Hearts 2

Just as you'd expect out of one of Disney's most iconic villains, Maleficent is an absolute menace in the original Kingdom Hearts. With evil schemes galore and Pete as her loyal henchman, she is a constant threat to Sora and his friends, spreading Darkness wherever she goes.

The heroes eventually manage to defeat her, but in Kingdom Hearts 2, Maleficent manages to come back to life. And while you'd think that the evil witch would immediately seek revenge, in reality, she actually helps Sora out!

Although she'd likely prefer to see herself as the ultimate villain, in Kingdom Hearts 2 Maleficent has no other choice but to recognize that there is a much more dangerous bad guy on the block in the form of Organization XIII.

Since the resurrection has severely weakened her powers and the Organization members are much more efficient at spreading corruption through Disney IPs, the witch is forced to work with her former foes until the new threat is eliminated (and she can claim Xemnas's castle for herself).

Her fall from grace could almost make you feel sorry for her if it wasn't for the fact she's still her evil self.
