When Guerrilla Games announced that the studio was working on a new IP and putting the Killzone franchise on hiatus, no one could have predicted it'd be this good. From gorgeous visuals, solid gameplay mechanics, and an open world that made you want to explore it, Horizon : Zero Dawn had it all.

What makes Horizon even more impressive is the fact that it's a new brand; it's something that hasn't sold millions of units before. Oh, and did I mention that it features a non-sexualized female as the protagonist?

If you're a fan of third-person action games, or just open world games in general, you owe it to yourself to give Horizon: Zero Dawn a go.
