10 Video Games That Are Flawed Masterpieces
10. Star Wars: Bounty Hunter (2002)
The mid-2000s were a great time for Star Wars games, with the likes of Battlefront, Lego Star Wars and Knights of the Old Republic all earning legendary reputations during their heyday. Sadly, in such a flooded marketplace, it's always going to be the case that some equally stellar titles are left on the sidelines.
Funnily enough, that's exactly where 2002's Star Wars: Bounty Hunter finds itself.
Released hot on the heels of Jango Fett's debut in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Bounty Hunter allows players to take control of the Mandalorian in the criminal underworld, exploring how the character ended up in the Prequels.
Off the bat, this game is far from perfect. The PS2 version suffers from some pretty subpar visuals and technical controls, and the missions and combat can veer a bit too close to the repetitive side.
However, few games immerse a Star Wars fan into its extended universe quite like Bounty Hunter. The storyline remains one of the best in the Expanded Universe, and there is so much to love about just how much of a badass Jango is.
Not only is this one of the best Star Wars games from an era that seems like a long time ago, but it's also one of the best bits of lore the franchise has managed to pump out.
