10. Mortal Kombat 3

Fatalities in the Mortal Kombat series are all about your character expressing themselves in a variety of unnecessarily violent ways, from Shang Tsung possessing his opponents and tearing their heads off, to Kano ripping out enemy hearts with his bare hands.

But there's no finisher in the series that's as unnecessarily violent as Smoke's genocidal bombs from Mortal Kombat 3, a move that results in you blowing up an entire planet.

This apocalyptic fatality starts with Smoke dropping a few explosives out of his chest, before the camera pans back to a wide shot of Earth. Then, the planet begins to shake, before exploding in a flash and destroying all life as we know it.

Smoke has other fatalities, of course, but none of them are quite as insane as this one - the guy goes all Death Star on the entire population of a planet, just so he can demonstrate how much of a badass he is. Mental.
